Held on Eight Hours Day since 2023, Tassal’s A Day at the Park is an exciting and affordable day of family fun held at Kingston Park. The event covers the entire site from the Kingborough Community Hub through the Kingston Park Playground and car park to the lower lawn.

The first two events featured live musical entertainment from the Royal Australian Navy Band, music and dance performances celebrating Australia’s multicultural diversity, circus performances, train rides, facepainting, henna tattoos and a variety of food stalls.

A Day at the Park has been made possible, and kept affordable, thanks to significant support from Tassal, the Tasmanian Government, Kingborough Council, Rotary Club of Kingston, Lions Club of Kingborough and many valued sponsors.

The feedback we have received from the public about the success of our first two events has been overwhelmingly positive. We look forward to continuing Tassal’s A Day at the Park in 2025 and making it even better!
